Xbox is shutting down four of its studios, including Redfall developer Arkane Austin and Ghostwire: Tokyo developer Tango Gameworks.
As shared by IGN, Xbox executive Matt Booty sent out a company-wide email detailing upcoming studio layoffs. "These changes are not a reflection of the creativity and skill of the talented individuals at these teams or the risks they took to try new things," said Booty in the email. Tango Gameworks也将关闭，工作室已经在Twitter上证实了这一消息。Hi-Fi Rush仍然可以购买，并且推测起来，它的其他游戏，如《内心的邪恶》和《鬼火:东京》,也仍然可以购买。
另外两家受到影响的工作室是阿尔法狗游戏公司和圆屋游戏公司。前者是一家以《强大的毁灭战士》最为知名的手游开发商，后者工作室成立于人类头部工作室关闭后的2019年。Roundhouse还将与Zenimax在线工作室合并。
自从Redfall发布以来，Arkane Austin一直相对沉默。上周标志着Redfall推出一周年，粉丝们注意到其承诺的DLC角色尚未发布。这一轮裁员发生在Xbox月份裁员1900人之后不久。
