In the trailer we see Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o strolling peacefully through a busy city street with her cat in her arms as she looks to the sky and sees the aliens crash into Earth. It gets pretty intense from there.
Day One also stars Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn and Djimon Hounsou, who appeared in A Quiet Place: Part II. There are multiple sequences with Nyong'o and her little cat, and here's to hoping that scruffy little creature makes it through alive.
